Sweet and Sour Minced Pork

This is so yummy and delicious.

Ingredients

300 gm minced pork (seasoned in light soya sauce and sesame oil)
carrots
green pepper (optional)-did not use cause hubby and sons dont like
pineapple cubes (if pineapple cubes are from can, can add some pineapple juice in too)
1/2 cup cornflour (est)
1/2 cup water (est)
4 to 5 tbsp of ketchup
1/2 tbsp vinegar
1/2 tbsp sugar or to taste
1 beaten egg

Method

Marinate minced pork with few drops of light soya sauce and sesame oil.
Add beaten egg and mix well.
Add corn flour and mix well.
Spoon mixture one by one into oil and deep fry till golden brown. Set aside.

In a wok, add some oil and throw in carrot and green pepper.
Add ketchup, vinegar, sugar, water and mix well.
Throw pork back into sauce together with pineapple cubes and mix well.
Let pork absorb the sauce till almost dry but mine has more gravy cause kids like the gravy with rice.

Serve hot. Yummy

Step by Step of making agar agar

Refer to my previous recipe of making agar agar.

First make agar agar with coconut then put in fridge to set. When set, use cookie cutters to cut out shapes.

The below photo is another tray with of agar agar layer of coconut with chendol.

Then make another agar agar without coconut and pour over these layers with patterns cut out and put in fridge to set. After setting, cut into squares, should looked like the below photo.

Now put those already cut out patterns of coconut or chendol agar agar into moulds. Then pour plain or coloured agar agar into the moulds and put in fridge to set.

After setting, they should looked like these.

The above are with chendol while the below photo are with chendols.
These inspirations are taken from baking mom blogspot.

BBQ Chicken Wings

When grilling, switch button to grill and it auto. dont let the oven door shut tight otherwise the door would shattered. But when baking, it auto. allowed the door to be shut tightly.

Marinated at least half a day chicken wings with same amount of dark soya sauce, oyster sauce, honey and sugar or to taste.

Grilled for 20 minutes but turned them every ten minutes for even BBQ and blasted with the remaining marinating sauce.

After that switch to baking and bake for another 20 to 30 minutes and turned them every 10 minutes or so for nice colour.
I am not satisfied with the result, will do again. :) Hubby and son said nice.

Curry Chicken

First time I tried using this brand. Just follow instructions but I added some spices and ingredients too.

Hubby and sons prefer more watery so they can dip bread into it. I prefer them slightly thicker.

Deep fried tau kwa with curry powder

This is yummy. My sons like it too but hubby dont take tofu because of his gout.
Cut tau kwa into cubes and mixes with curry powder. Dust tau kwa with corn flour. Deep fry them till golden brown. Serve hot.
