Banana Muffins

This is the first time I baked banana muffins, it tasted good but I am not satisfied with look of the muffins. I guess it was because I opened the door of the oven while baking....lol

The inside muffins are brown while the outside is slower so I opened the oven door to change the direction of the tray and it is a mistake, the muffins sunk when I opened the door...lol

This recipe makes 12 medium sized muffins
2 Large ripe bananas
1/2 - 3/4 cup caster sugar
1 large egg
90 gms melted butter
1 cup self raising flour

Mashed bananas with sugar, beat in the egg and butter, fold in the flour.
Pour into muffin cases and bake in preheated 180 degree oven for 20-23 minutes until muffin tops are golden and cooked through.
Allow to cool slightly on wire rack.

(Note: I did not mashed the bananas but cut them into thin slices and beat together with the sugar, egg and butter)

Fried wonton dipped in beaten egg.

A different type of fried wonton
As usual , I wrapped the wonton skin with minced pork, minced chestnuts, minced prawns and added some seasoning of light soya sauce and seasame oil.

Then I sealed the skin. Can wrapped the wontan in triangle shape or rectangle shape. Then before frying, I dipped the whole wonton in beaten egg and deep fry them. Careful not to burn them. It tasted better than the normal wonton. Yummy.
